MICROBILOGICAL LABORATORY

The microbiological laboratory is designed and equipped according to the required space and equipment requirements of the Ministry of Health of Macedonia, as well as the requirements of GLP and ISO 17025. The tests of the samples that are made, whether from input materials or finished product, are in accordance with all World quality standards, using validated methods, recommended and given in existing Pharmacopoeias.
Microbiological examinations, during the growth and development of the plant, as well as water and nutrients, are the most important in the process of growing medical cannabis, on which the quality of the obtained oil, with its processing, will further depend.

Due to the continuous production, which we have in MAR MEDICA, we need a fast way of detecting microorganisms, to prevent their rapid spread. Therefore, we have equipped our laboratory with a PCR instrument, which with using rapid tests, enables early detection of any microorganism, whereby we can prevent damage to plants, which would affect the quality of oil in further processing of the medicinal cannabis.
